| 31 | 31 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | of the same, as follows: |

| 33 | 33 | | 1 SECTION 1. Chapter 175 of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding after section |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | 2187H the following new section:- |
|---|
| 35 | 35 | | 3 Section 187I. Notwithstanding any other provision of law relative to the cancellation, |
|---|
| 36 | 36 | | 4renewal or nonrenewal of an insurance policy, any insurance company may, with the agreement |
|---|
| 37 | 37 | | 5of the named insured, provide such notice by electronic means. |
|---|
| 38 | 38 | | 6 SECTION 2. This act shall take effect on passage. |
|---|
