2626 An Act expanding access to legal, regulated cannabis delivery.
2727 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority
2828 of the same, as follows:
2929 1 SECTION 1. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its
3030 2purpose, which is to immediately remove unnecessary burdens from vulnerable social equity
3131 3businesses before the end of the license exclusivity period, therefore it is hereby declared to be
3232 4an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
3333 5 SECTION 2. Section 4 Chapter 94G of the General Laws is amended by inserting, at the
3434 6end of the section, the following subsection:-
3535 7 (m) The commission shall not prohibit the delivery of cannabis by licensed delivery
3636 8operators or couriers to any municipality in the commonwealth nor to any establishment that
3737 9provides overnight lodging services to tourists and visitors, including but not limited to hotels,
3838 10motels, and resorts.
