27 | 27 | | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority |
---|
28 | 28 | | of the same, as follows: |

29 | 29 | | 1 SECTION 1. Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its |
---|
30 | 30 | | 2purpose, which is to immediately remove unnecessary burdens from vulnerable social equity |
---|
31 | 31 | | 3businesses before the end of the license exclusivity period, therefore it is hereby declared to be |
---|
32 | 32 | | 4an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience. |

33 | 33 | | 5 SECTION 2. Section 4 Chapter 94G of the General Laws is amended by inserting, at the |
---|
34 | 34 | | 6end of the section, the following subsection:- |

35 | 35 | | 7 (m) The commission shall not prohibit the delivery of cannabis by licensed delivery |
---|
36 | 36 | | 8operators or couriers to any municipality in the commonwealth nor to any establishment that |
---|
37 | 37 | | 9provides overnight lodging services to tourists and visitors, including but not limited to hotels, |
---|
38 | 38 | | 10motels, and resorts. |
