2620 FOR the purpose of establishing the Greater Baltimore Transit Governance and Funding 3

3226 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 8

3529 (a) In this section, “Commission” means the Greater Baltimore Transit 10

3832 (b) There is a Greater Baltimore Transit Governance and Funding Commission. 12

4034 (c) (1) The Commission consists of the following members: 13

4236 (i) One member of the Senate of Maryland, appointed by the 14

177- SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect June 21
178-1, 2022. It shall remain effective for a period of 1 year and 7 months and, at the end of 22
179-December 31, 2023, this Act, with no further action required by the General Assembly, shall 23
180-be abrogated and of no further force and effect. 24
