14511451 22–404 of the Business Occupations and Professions Article, as enacted by Section 2 of this 9
14521452 Act, to any applicant who presents to the Board not later than October 1, 2024, satisfactory 10
14531453 evidence that the applicant provided management services in the State for the 2 years 11

14561456 SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, on or before December 1, 13
14571457 2022, the Maryland Department of Labor shall report to the General Assembly, in 14
14581458 accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, on the imposition of a 15
14591459 registration fee on common ownership communities, including the necessity for and amount 16
14601460 of a registration fee on common ownership communities in relation to the license fees and 17
14611461 limited license fees required under this Act and the size of a common ownership community 18
14621462 to which a registration fee would apply. 19

14641464 SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Department of Budget 20
14651465 and Management, by budget amendment, may advance sufficient funds to the State Board 21
14661466 of Common Ownership Community Managers to allow the Board to commence operations 22
14671467 on October 1, 2022, so that the functions of issuing licenses and limited licenses and 23
14681468 registering common ownership communities can be in place before October 1, 2023. The 24
14691469 Board shall reimburse any funds that have been advanced after the license fees and limited 25
14701470 license fees have been received and deposited into the State Board of Common Ownership 26
14711471 Community Managers Fund. 27
