BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 13 Article – Human Services 14 6–801. 15 (A) For [each] fiscal [year] YEARS 2021 THROUGH 2023, the Governor shall 16 include in the annual State budget an appropriation of $200,000 for the CASH Campaign 17 of Maryland to promote the financial capability of low–income individuals and families by 18 providing outreach, education, and free tax preparation services. 19 2 HOUSE BILL 447 (B) FOR FISCAL YEAR 2024 AND EACH FISCAL YEAR THEREAFTER , THE 1 GOVERNOR SHALL INCLUD E IN THE ANNUAL BUDG ET BILL AN APPROPRIA TION OF 2 $500,000 FOR THE CASH CAMPAIGN. 3 SECTION 2.
