BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 14 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 15 Article – Education 16 4–141. 17 (A) IN THIS SECTION, “CURRICULUM ” MEANS: 18 (1) INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIA LS; 19 (2) ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUES ; 20 (3) INTERNET LINKS FOR , OR THE NAME OF , A TEXTBOOK; AND 21 2 SENATE BILL 786 (4) COURSE SYLLABI . 1 (B) (1) BEGINNING IN THE 2022–2023 SCHOOL YEAR , EACH PUBLIC 2 SCHOOL SHALL POST TH E CURRICULUM USED FO R EACH COURSE TAUGHT IN THE 3 SCHOOL ON ITS PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE WEBSITE. 4 (2) NOT LATER THAN 60 DAYS AFTER THE CURRI CULUM FOR A 5 COURSE IS APPROVED O R REVISED BY A PUBLI C SCHOOL, THE PUBLIC SCHOOL 6 SHALL POST THE NEW O R UPDATED CURRICULUM ON ITS PUBLICLY ACCE SSIBLE 7 WEBSITE. 8 (C) EACH COUNTY BOARD SHALL ENSURE THAT EACH PUB LIC SCHOOL IN 9 THE COUNTY COMPLIES WITH THE REQUIREMENT S OF THIS SECTION. 10 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 11 1, 2022. 12
