AN ACT concerning 1
Maryland Center for History and Culture – Annual Appropriation 2
FOR the purpose of requiring the Governor, each fiscal year, to include a certain 3
appropriation in the annual budget bill to the Maryland Center for History and 4
Culture for certain purposes; and generally relating to the Maryland Center for 5
History and Culture. 6

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 12

BILL AN APPROPRIATIO N OF $1,000,000 TO THE MARYLAND CENTER FOR HISTORY 17
AND CULTURE TO ASSIST THE CENTER IN: 18
(1) PRESERVING ITS COLLE CTION; 19
(2) MAINTAINING A HISTOR ICAL MUSEUM ; AND 20
(3) PROVIDING ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC , INCLUDING FOR 21 2 SENATE BILL 915
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS . 1
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 2
October 1, 2022. 3
