BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 13 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 14 Article – Tax – Property 15 14–833. 16 (g) When the governing body of a county or municipal corporation becomes the 17 holder of a certificate of sale purchased in accordance with § 14–824 of this subtitle, the 18 governing body of the county or municipal corporation may file a complaint, at any time 19 after the date of sale, to foreclose all rights of redemption in [abandoned property consisting 20 of: 21 (1) a vacant lot; or 22 (2) improved property cited as vacant and unfit for habitation on a housing 23 2 SENATE BILL 991 or building violation notice] THE PROPERTY . 1 SECTION 2.
