11-FOR the purpose of increasing by a certain amount extending the appropriation from the
12-Transportation Trust Fund in certain fiscal years that the Governor is required to
13-include in the annual State budget for the operation of the replica sailing vessel
14-known as the Pride of Baltimore II; extending the fiscal years to which the mandated

28- SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND,

35- (a) For fiscal years [2020] 2024 through [2023] 2028, the Governor shall include
36-in the annual State budget an appropriation of [$500,000] $600,000 from the
37-Transportation Trust Fund for the operation of the replica sailing vessel known as the Pride

40- (b) On or before December 1, [2019] 2023, and on or before December 1 each year
41-thereafter, any person or entity receiving funds under this section shall submit a report to
42-the Department and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the
43-Senate Budget and Taxation Committee and the House Appropriations Committee that
44-includes:

53-Pride of Baltimore II was operated solely for the purposes of promoting historical maritime
54-education, fostering economic development and tourism, and representing the citizens of
55-Maryland in every port visited; and

57- (3) A strategic business plan that includes:
53+ (a) For fiscal years [2020] 2024 through [2023] 2028, the Governor shall include 2

72-abrogated and of no further force and effect.
