44+ SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 18

39- (c) Subject to subsection (i) of this section, a person shall file a statement in
40-accordance with this section if at any time during the reporting period the person spent at
41-least $500 to provide compensation to one or more regulated lobbyists.
