AN ACT concerning 1
Gaming – Electronic Instant Bingo Machines – Paper Tickets Option 2
FOR the purpose of authorizing certain electronic machines offering a game of instant bingo 3
to provide a player the option to print a paper ticket for each game of instant bingo 4
played; and generally relating to electronic instant bingo machines. 5

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 11
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 12

12–308. 14
(A) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this subtitle, an entity licensed to 15
offer instant bingo under a commercial bingo license on July 1, 2007, or by a qualified 16
organization as defined in § 13–201 of this article on the premises of the qualified 17
organization may continue to operate a game of instant bingo in the same manner using 18
electronic machines, provided that: 19
(1) (i) the machines were in operation for a 1–year period ending 20
December 31, 2007; or 21
(ii) the machines were in operation under a commercial bingo license 22
on December 31, 2007; 23 2 SENATE BILL 1112
(2) the entity does not operate more than the num ber of electronic 1
machines in operation on February 28, 2008; and 2
(3) the conduct of the gaming and operation of the machines are consistent 3
with all other provisions of this article. 4
(B) AN ELECTRONIC MACHINE ALLOWED UNDER SUBSEC TION (A) OF THIS 5
SECTION TO OFFER A GAME OF INSTANT BI NGO MAY PROVIDE A PLAYER THE OPTION 6
TO PRINT A PAPER TIC KET FOR EACH INSTANT BIN GO GAME PLAYED . 7
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 8
1, 2024. 9
