AN ACT concerning
Electronic Transactions Protection Act – Repeal
FOR the purpose of repealing the Electronic Transactions Protection Act; and generally
relating to the Electronic Transactions Protection Act and the Office of the Attorney
General.

Section 6–201 through 6–203 and the subtitle “Subtitle 2. Electronic Transactions
Protection Act”
Annotated Code of Maryland
(2021 Replacement Volume and 2023 Supplement)
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND,
That Section(s) 6–201 through 6–203 and the subtitle “Subtitle 2. Electronic Transactions
Protection Act” of Article – State Government of the Annotated Code of Maryland be
repealed.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2024.
