FOR the purpose of prohibiting the governing documents of a homeowners association from 3

OWNER OF THE LOT OWN ER’S PROPERTY FOR A PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS OR MORE . 16
(B) A RECORDED COV ENANT OR RESTRICTION , A PROVISION IN A 17
DECLARATION, OR A PROVISION IN TH E BYLAWS OR RULES OF A HOMEOWNERS 18
ASSOCIATION MAY NOT RESTRICT OR PROHIBIT LONG–TERM RENTAL S. 19
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 20
