38	38	SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 18

45	45	(a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated. 22

47	47	(b) “Board” means the State Board of Massage Therapy Examiners. 23

51	51	(d) “License” means, unless the context requires otherwise, a license issued by the 1
52	52	Board to practice massage therapy. 2

54	54	(e) “Licensed massage therapist” means an individual who is licensed by the 3
55	55	Board to practice massage therapy. 4

57	57	(i) “Supervised hands–on techniques” means massage techniques that are 5
58	58	performed under the direct, in–person supervision of a qualified licensed instructor who is 6
59	59	on–site in: 7
