1180 | - | (1) a summary of the various cost–driving effects of covered greenhouse gas 11 | |
1181 | - | emissions on the State, including effects on public health, natural resources, biodiversity, 12 | |
1182 | - | agriculture, economic development, flood preparedness and safety, and housing, and any 13 | |
1183 | - | other effect that the Comptroller and the Department of the Environment determine to be 14 | |
1184 | - | relevant; 15 | |

1186 | - | (2) a categorized calculation of the costs that have been incurred and costs 16 | |
1187 | - | that are projected to be incurred by the State and its residents for each effect identified 17 | |
1188 | - | under item (1) of this subsection; 18 | |

1190 | - | (3) a categorized calculation of the costs that have been incurred and costs 19 | |
1191 | - | that are projected to be incurred by the State and its residents to mitigate adapt to the 20 | |
1192 | - | effects of covered greenhouse gas emissions during the covered period; and 21 | |

1194 | - | (4) an economic analysis to determine whether there would be a cost passed 22 | |
1195 | - | on to taxpayers as a result of requiring each fossil fuel company that has a sufficient nexus 23 | |
1196 | - | to the State and emitted more than 1,000,000,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions globally 24 | |
1197 | - | between 1995 and 2024 to compensate the State for climate change. 25 | |
