AN ACT concerning 1 
 
State Highway Administration – Memorials – Maryland Route 210 in Prince 2 
George’s County 3

FOR the purpose of requiring the State Highway Administration to erect a memorial sign 5 
on a certain portion of Maryland Route 210 in Prince George’s County remembering 6 
individuals who have died in motor vehicle accidents on Maryland Route 210; and 7 
generally relating to a memorial remembering individuals who have died in motor 8 
vehicle accidents on Maryland Route 210. 9 
 
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, 10

 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 15 
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 16 
 
Article – Transportation 17

 (A) The Administration shall designate Maryland Route 210 as the Piscataway 19 
Highway. 20 
 
 (B) (1) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL ERECT A MEMORIAL SIGN ALONG 21 
THE PORTION OF MARYLAND ROUTE 210 THAT IS LOCATED BETW EEN MILE 22 
MARKERS 11.359 AND 11.672, RAMPS 1 AND 2 TO KERBY HILL ROAD, 23  2 	HOUSE BILL 440  
 
 
REMEMBERING INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE DIED FROM INJURIES SUSTAINED IN 1 
MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDE NTS ON MARYLAND ROUTE 210. 2 
 
 (2) THE MEMORIAL SIGN SHALL: 3 
 
 (I) BE VISIBLE TO TRAVELERS ON MARYLAND ROUTE 210; AND 4 
 
 (II) INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING LANGUA GE: 5 
 
“IN MEMORY OF THE LIVE S LOST ON MARYLAND ROUTE 210. WE ARE MAKING OUR 6 
HIGHWAY SAFER .”. 7 
 
 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect 8 
October 1, 2025. 9
