Wicomico County – Vehicle Laws – Prohibition on Roadway Solicitations 2 
 
FOR the purpose of prohibiting a person in Wicomico County from standing in a roadway, 3 
median divider, or intersection to solicit money or donations from the occupant of a 4 
vehicle; and generally relating to roadway solicitations in Wicomico County. 5 
 
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, 6 
 Article – Transportation 7 
 Section 21–507(c) 8 
 Annotated Code of Maryland 9 
 (2020 Replacement Volume and 2024 Supplement) 10 
 
 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 11 
That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 12

 (c) In Calvert County, Carroll County, Charles County, Harford County, [and] 15 
Washington County, AND WICOMICO COUNTY, a person may not stand in a roadway, 16 
median divider, or intersection to solicit money or donations of any kind from the occupant 17 
of a vehicle. 18
