AN ACT concerning 1 
 
Harford County – Alcoholic Beverages – Class AF (Athletic Field) License 2 
 
FOR the purpose of establishing a 6–day and a 7–day Class AF (athletic field) beer and 3 
wine license in Harford County; authorizing the Board of License Commissioners for 4 
Harford County to issue the 6–day or 7–day license only to a person who leases, owns, 5 
or operates an athletic field for profit; and generally relating to alcoholic beverages 6 
licenses in Harford County. 7 
 
BY renumbering 8

Section 22–1001 and 22–1001.1  10 
to be Section 22–1001.1 and 22–1001.2, respectively 11

 SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 24 
That Section(s) 22–1001 and 22–1001.1 of Article – Alcoholic Beverages and Cannabis of 25 
the Annotated Code of Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) 22–1001.1 and 22–1001.2, 26

 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland read 1 
as follows: 2

 This title applies only in Harford County. 5 
 
22–1001. 6 
 
 (A) THERE IS: 7 
 
 (1) A 6–DAY CLASS AF (ATHLETIC FIELD ) BEER AND WINE LICENS E; 8 
AND 9 
 
 (2) A 7–DAY CLASS AF (ATHLETIC FIELD ) BEER AND WINE LICENS E. 10 
 
 (B) THE BOARD MAY ISSUE THE 6–DAY OR THE 7–DAY LICENSE ONLY TO A 11 
PERSON WHO LEASES , OWNS, OR OPERATES AN ATHLE TIC FIELD FOR PROFIT . 12 
 
 (C) (1) A 6–DAY LICENSE AUTHORIZES THE LICENSE HOLDER TO SE LL 13 
BEER AND WINE FOR ON–PREMISES CONSUMPTION MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY, 14 
FROM 12 P.M. TO 9 P.M. 15 
 
 (2) A 7–DAY LICENSE AUTHORIZ ES THE LICENSE HOLDE R TO SELL 16 
BEER AND WINE FOR ON–PREMISES CONSUMPTION MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY, 17 
FROM 12 P.M. TO 9 P.M. 18 
 
 (D) A LICENSE HOLDER SHALL PURCHASE BEER AND WI NE FROM AN 19 
AUTHORIZED AND LICEN SED WHOLESALER . 20 
 
 (E) A LICENSE HOLDER SHALL PROVIDE PREPACKAGED FOOD OR SNACKS 21 
AT ALL TIMES WHEN BE ER AND WINE ARE SOLD . 22 
 
 (F) THE ANNUAL LICENSE FEES ARE: 23 
 
 (1) $1,300 FOR A 6–DAY LICENSE; AND 24 
 
 (2) $1,400 FOR A 7–DAY LICENSE. 25 
 
 SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect July 26 
1, 2025. 27
