BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND, 1 That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: 2 Article – Business Occupations and Professions 3 16–201. 4 There is a State Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, Appraisal Management 5 Companies, and Home Inspectors in the Department. 6 16–802. 7 Subject to the evaluation and reestablishment provisions of the Maryland Program 8 Evaluation Act, this title and all regulations adopted under this title shall terminate and 9 be of no effect after July 1, [2026] 2031 2029. 10 SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, on or before July 1, 2028, the 11 Maryland Department of Labor shall submit a report to the Joint Audit and Evaluation 12 Committee with information regarding the State Commission of Real Estate Appraisers, 13 Appraisal Management Companies, and Home Inspectors as determined by the Joint Audit 14 and Evaluation Committee. 15 SECTION 3.
