Page 1 - 131LR0834(01) 1 2 is enacted to read: 3 4 which blows are delivered with the hand and any part of the leg below the hip, including 5 the bare foot, with the intent to disable or cause injury to an opponent in a contest, 6 exhibition or event. 7 as enacted by PL 2009, c. 352, ยง2, is amended to 8 read: 9 10 compensation that features a mixture of karate, jiu-jitsu, muay thai Muay Thai, tae kwon 11 do, boxing, kick boxing kickboxing, wrestling, judo and striking and grappling techniques. 12 is enacted to read: 13 14 which blows are delivered with the fist, elbow, knee and shin and in which various 15 clinching techniques are employed, with the intent to disable or cause injury to an opponent 16 in a contest, exhibition or event. 17 18 This bill adds definitions for "kickboxing" and "Muay Thai" to the laws governing 19 mixed martial arts and boxing. 18 19
