Page 1 - 132LR2234(01) 1 2 is enacted to read: 3 4 program certified under subsection 1 may operate in a location other than that authorized 5 in its certification, as long as the location is in the same county, the State is notified of the 6 location and there is proper disposal of hypodermic apparatuses. Any additional location 7 must adhere to the requirements under this section and to departmental rules implementing 8 this subsection. The certified hypodermic apparatus exchange program shall submit 9 monthly reports to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention with the additional 10 locations the program is operating within the county, the number of hypodermic 11 apparatuses collected and disposed of and any other information requested by the Maine 12 Center for Disease Control and Prevention. 13 is enacted to read: 14 G-1. Requirements for additional county locations operated by a certified hypodermic 15 apparatus exchange program pursuant to subsection 1-A; 16 17 This bill allows a certified hypodermic apparatus exchange program, also known as a 18 syringe service program, to operate additional locations within the same county as the 19 certified program. The certified program must provide monthly data to the Maine Center 20 for Disease Control and Prevention on the locations of additional sites, the number of 21 hypodermic apparatuses collected and disposed of and any additional data requested. This 22 places in statute the requirements of Executive Orders 27 FY 19/20 and 33 FY 20/21. 17 18 19 20 21 22
