The first payment must be made by July 31st. The amount of tuition and 6 other costs paid for all students is limited to the amount appropriated for this purpose. 7 To be eligible for state funding under this paragraph, a student must have resided reside 8 in Maine with a parent, other relative or guardian for at least 6 months immediately 9 preceding application to the school at the start of the academic year for which state 10 funding is appropriated. 11 The following appropriations and 12 allocations are made. 13 14 15 Initiative: Provides ongoing funds to the Maine School of Science and Mathematics to 16 support administrative operations. This bill instead requires that the student reside in 34 Maine at the start of the academic year for which state funds are appropriated.
