HOUSE BILL NO. 4010 A bill to amend 1933 PA 167, entitled "General sales tax act," (MCL 205.51 to 205.78) by adding section 4gg. the people of the state of michigan enact: Sec. 4gg. (1) The sale of gun safety items is exempt from the tax imposed by this act. (2) As used in this section, "gun safety items" means gun locks, gun safes, ear and eye protection for gun shooting, and any other tangible personal property designed to promote the safe use or storage of guns.
