11 HOUSE BILL NO. 4659 A bill to repeal 1966 PA 257, entitled "An act to provide for bail of persons arrested for or accused of criminal offenses involving traffic offenses or misdemeanors; by prescribing the conditions under which security is required; by prescribing the kind and amount of security required; by prescribing the conditions under which security may be forfeited and the manner of forfeiture; by prescribing penalties for violations; and to repeal certain acts and parts of acts," (MCL 780.61 to 780.73). the people of the state of michigan enact: Enacting section 1. 1966 PA 257, MCL 780.61 to 780.73, is repealed effective January 1, 2025. Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect unless all of the following bills of the 102nd Legislature are enacted into law: (a) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4655 (request no. 00502'23) (b) Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4660 (request no. 00502'23 a).
