| 1 | 1 | | HOUSE BILL NO. 4733 A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled "The insurance code of 1956," by amending section 608 (MCL 500.608), as added by 2016 PA 276. the people of the state of michigan enact: Sec. 608. As used in this act: (a) "Health" insurance is "Health insurance" means insurance provided under a health insurance policy. (b) "Health insurance policy" means an expense-incurred hospital, medical, or surgical policy, certificate, or contract. Health insurance policy does not include a policy that provides coverage only for excepted benefits as described in 42 USC 300gg-91. Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect unless Senate Bill No.____ or House Bill No. 4732 (request no. 02047'23) of the 102nd Legislature is enacted into law. |
