11 HOUSE BILL NO. 6095 A bill to amend 2006 PA 110, entitled "Michigan zoning enabling act," by amending section 205d (MCL 125.3205d), as added by 2018 PA 506. the people of the state of michigan enact: Sec. 205d. (1) A zoning ordinance shall not regulate do any of the following: (a) Regulate or prohibit a sign that is located on or within a building and that commemorates any of the following: (i) (a) Any of the following who die in the line of duty: (A) (i) Police officers. (B) (ii) Firefighters. (C) (iii) Medical first responders. (D) (iv) Members of the United States Armed Forces. (E) (v) Corrections officers. (ii) (b) Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. (b) Require the provision of more than 1.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit for a residential use of property. (2) As used in this section, "medical first responder" means that term as defined in section 20906 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20906.
