| 6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 169.781, subdivision 10, is amended to read: |

| 7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subd. 10.Exemptions.(a) This section does not apply to a vehicle operated by a motor |

| 8 | 8 | | 1.8carrier of passengers, as defined in section 221.012, subdivision 26, if the vehicle has been |

| 9 | 9 | | 1.9inspected under section 221.0252, subdivision 3, paragraph (a), clause (2), within the previous |

| 11 | 11 | | 1.11 (b) This section does not apply to a covered farm vehicle, as defined in Code of Federal |

| 12 | 12 | | 1.12Regulations, title 49, section 390.5, that is not carrying hazardous materials of a type or |

| 13 | 13 | | 1.13quantity that requires the vehicle to be placarded in accordance with Code of Federal |

| 19 | 19 | | 1.19 (3) not otherwise used in the transportation of hazardous materials of a type or quantity |
