55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. WAYZATA; DOWNTOWN LAKESHORE IMPROVEMENTS.​
77 1.7 Subdivision 1.Appropriation.$14,915,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds​
88 1.8fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to the city​
99 1.9of Wayzata to acquire real property or interests in real property for, and to design, construct,​
1010 1.10furnish, and equip the final phase of Wayzata's downtown lakefront restoration, including​
1111 1.11construction of an eco park, restoration and preservation of the historic Section Foreman​
1212 1.12House and Wayzata Depot site, restoration of lake edge on Lake Minnetonka, improvements​
1313 1.13to the Wayzata Beach and Klapprich Park, as well as design for new public safety facilities​
1414 1.14that will directly serve the needs of the downtown lakefront and community park​
1515 1.15improvements. This appropriation is in addition to the appropriation for a portion of this​
1616 1.16project in Laws 2020, Fifth Special Session chapter 3, article 1, section 21, subdivision 45.​
1717 1.17 Subd. 2.Bond sale.To provide the money appropriated in this section from the bond​
1818 1.18proceeds fund, the commissioner of management and budget shall sell and issue bonds of​
1919 1.19the state in an amount up to $14,915,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and with the effect​
2020 1.20prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota​
2121 1.21Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.​
2222 1.22 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
