1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.4 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.​
1.5 $400,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
1.6of employment and economic development for a grant to FilmNorth to develop statewide​
1.7plans, programs, and resources to support the growth and development of the Minnesota​
1.8film industry through career-connected learning, workforce development, and business​
1.9development with a focus on better supporting people from marginalized or rural​
1.10communities.​
