1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for road improvements in the
1.3 city of Eden Prairie.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MARKED TRUNK HIGHWAY 5 AND HENNEPIN
1.6COUNTY STATE-AID HIGHWAY 4 INTERCHANGE.
1.7 $5,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund for one or more
1.8grants to the city of Eden Prairie, Hennepin County, the Department of Transportation, or
1.9a combination of these entities for preliminary transportation and utility design, environmental
1.10analysis, final transportation and utility design, and right-of-way and utility easement
1.11acquisition for an interchange at marked Trunk Highway 5 and Hennepin County State-Aid
1.12Highway 4 and approaching roadways to the interchange in the city of Eden Prairie. This
1.13is a onetime appropriation and is available until June 30, 2030.
