1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for accessible housing units
1.3 owned by Accessible Space, Inc., in the city of Rochester.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. ACCESSIBLE SPACE, INC.; APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $600,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to Accessible Space, Inc., a 501(c)(3)
1.8nonprofit organization, to construct improvements and betterments of a capital nature to
1.9low-income accessible housing units located at 1680 Eastwood Road SE and 3461 Kenosha
1.10Drive NW in the city of Rochester. This is a onetime appropriation and is available until
1.11the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
