1.2 relating to agriculture; appropriating money for the Minnesota Black Farmers
1.3 Association to purchase advanced 21st century farming equipment for use by a
1.4 cooperative of Black veteran farmers.
1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.6 Section 1. ADVANCED 21ST CENTURY FARMING EQUIPMENT FOR BLACK
1.7VETERAN FARMERS.
1.8 The commissioner of agriculture must award a grant to the Minnesota Black Farmers
1.9Association to purchase advanced 21st century farming equipment, including skid steers
1.10and John Deere tractors with attachments, for use by members of a cooperative of Black
1.11veteran farmers.
1.12 Sec. 2. APPROPRIATION.
1.13 $2,500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.14of agriculture for a grant to the Minnesota Black Farmers Association to purchase advanced
1.1521st century farming equipment for use by members of a cooperative of Black veteran
1.16farmers.
