1.2 relating to game and fish; appropriating money for the fishing in the neighborhood

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. FISHING IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM; APPROPRIATIONS.
1.6 $200,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from the
1.7game and fish fund to the commissioner of natural resources to expand the fishing in the
1.8neighborhood program to counties and cities throughout the state of Minnesota to increase
1.9angling opportunities for children, public awareness, and environmental stewardship.
