1.2 relating to capital investment; appropriating money for the Duluth Children's
1.3 Museum.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; DULUTH CHILDREN'S MUSEUM.
1.6 $1,700,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.7of employment and economic development for a grant to Duluth Children's Museum, a
1.8501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, to design, construct, furnish, and equip capital
1.9improvements for an expansion of the museum building in the city of Duluth. This
1.10appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned subject to Minnesota
1.11Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.
1.12 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
