1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; RAMSEY COUNTY; GIBBS FARM MUSEUM:
1.6PATHWAYS TO DAKOTA AND PIONEER LIFE.
1.7 $500,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
1.8of employment and economic development for a grant to the Ramsey County Historical
1.9Society to design, renovate, construct, furnish, and equip site improvements, buildings, and
1.10facilities at Gibbs Farm, a museum dedicated to the history of early Minnesota agriculture
1.11and the relationship between the Dakota people of Heyata Othunwe and the Jane and Heman
1.12Gibbs family.
1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.
