1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for Minnesota
1.3 Transportation Museum.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MINNESOTA TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM.
1.6 $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
1.7to the Minnesota Historical Society for a grant to the Minnesota Transportation Museum
1.8to construct capital improvements to the Minnesota Transportation Museum in the city of
1.9St. Paul, including replacing the roof, stabilizing masonry, replacing the roundhouse doors,
1.10installing insulation, and making modifications to comply with the Americans with
1.11Disabilities Act. This appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned,
1.12subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
