44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; MAGNUS VETERANS FOUNDATION.​
66 1.6 $900,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner​
77 1.7of veterans affairs for a grant to Magnus Veterans Foundation to design, construct, renovate,​
88 1.8equip, and furnish capital improvements to the Magnus Veterans Wellness Clinic in the city​
99 1.9of Dayton. This appropriation includes money for major projects that reconfigure, renovate,​
1010 1.10and expand existing space; energy efficiency improvements; major projects that preserve​
1111 1.11or replace HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; and other site renovations to support​
1212 1.12ongoing operations. This appropriation is onetime and is available until the project is​
1313 1.13completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.​
1414 1.14 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective the day following final enactment.​
