77 1.7 Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 116C.779, subdivision 1, paragraph (j),​
88 1.8$6,000,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $6,000,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
99 1.9the renewable development account in the special revenue fund under Minnesota Statutes,​
1010 1.10section 116C.779, subdivision 1, to the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota​
1111 1.11to lead research, development, outreach, and demonstration of energy systems that utilize​
1212 1.12hydrogen and ammonia production from renewable energy resources and other sources of​
1313 1.13clean energy as a means of storing and generating electricity. The appropriations under this​
1414 1.14section are onetime and are available until June 30, 2028.​
