5 | 5 | | 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: |

6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. [624.7139] LOST OR STOLEN FIREARMS. |

7 | 7 | | 1.7 Subdivision 1.Duty to report.A person who owns, possesses, or controls a firearm |
---|
8 | 8 | | 1.8must report the loss or theft of the firearm to a law enforcement agency in the jurisdiction |
---|
9 | 9 | | 1.9in which the loss or theft occurred as soon as practicable but not later than within 48 hours |
