                            1.1	A bill for an act​
1.2 relating to transportation; making prior active transportation account transfer​
1.3 onetime; amending Laws 2023, chapter 68, article 1, section 20, as amended.​
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
1.5 Section 1. Laws 2023, chapter 68, article 1, section 20, as amended by Laws 2024, chapter​
1.6127, article 1, section 13, is amended to read:​
1.7 Sec. 20. TRANSFERS.​
1.8 (a) $152,650,000 in fiscal year 2024 is transferred from the general fund to the trunk​
1.9highway fund for the state match for highway formula and discretionary grants under the​
1.10federal Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Public Law 117-58, and for related state​
1.11investments.​
1.12 (b) $19,500,000 in fiscal year 2024 and $19,215,000 in fiscal year 2025 are transferred​
1.13from the general fund to the active transportation account under Minnesota Statutes, section​
1.14174.38. The base for this transfer is $8,155,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $8,284,000 in fiscal​
1.15year 2027.​
1.16 (c) By June 30, 2023, the commissioner of management and budget must transfer any​
1.17remaining unappropriated balance, estimated to be $232,000, from the driver services​
1.18operating account in the special revenue fund to the driver and vehicle services operating​
1.19account under Minnesota Statutes, section 299A.705.​
1.20 (d) By June 30, 2023, the commissioner of management and budget must transfer any​
1.21remaining unappropriated balance, estimated to be $13,454,000, from the vehicle services​
