1.1 A bill for an act
1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for a grant to Minnesota
1.3 STEM Ecosystem.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION.
1.6 $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,200,00 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
1.7the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant
1.8to the Minnesota STEM Ecosystem. Money must be used to support STEM learning
1.9opportunities and workforce development within the science and technology areas. The
1.10Minnesota STEM Ecosystem may award grants to programs that support STEM learning
1.11and workforce development to ensure strategic alignment of STEM initiatives across the
1.12state.
