55 1.5BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
66 1.6 Section 1. [116L.36] GRANTEE EVALUATIONS.​
77 1.7 (a) Beginning January 15, 2026, and each year thereafter, the commissioner must submit​
88 1.8a report on organizations that received grants from the department in the preceding fiscal​
99 1.9year to the chairs and ranking minority members of the legislative committees with​
1010 1.10jurisdiction over workforce development.​
1111 1.11 (b) The report required under paragraph (a) must include the following information from​
1212 1.12each grant recipient:​
1313 1.13 (1) a summary of the purpose of the grant;​
1414 1.14 (2) the amount of the grant awarded to the grantee;​
1515 1.15 (3) the amount of previous grants issued by the department to the grantee;​
1616 1.16 (4) the amount of other state and federal grants awarded to the grantee in the most recent​
1717 1.17fiscal year;​
1818 1.18 (5) the number of Minnesotans served by the organization and, if applicable, completing​
1919 1.19the organization's job training program;​
2020 1.20 (6) the number of Minnesotans successfully placed in a living wage job by the​
2121 1.21organization;​

3838 2.8an explanation of why grant money was used to provide services to non-Minnesota residents.​
3939 2.9 (d) The commissioner is not required to provide information in response to paragraph​
4040 2.10(b), clauses (5) to (8), for a grantee that does not offer programming that requires completion​
4141 2.11or that cannot be measured by objective standards. The commissioner is not required to​
4242 2.12report on information required in paragraph (a) that was not collected by the commissioner​
4343 2.13prior to enactment of this section.​
