1.2 relating to agriculture; transferring money for the agriculture best management

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. TRANSFER; AGRICULTURE BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES
1.6LOAN PROGRAM.
1.7 $1,425,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,425,000 in fiscal year 2027 are transferred from
1.8the general fund to the agricultural and environmental revolving loan account in the special
1.9revenue fund under Minnesota Statutes, section 17.117, subdivision 5a, for low-interest or
1.10no-interest loans issued through the agriculture best management practices loan program
1.11under Minnesota Statutes, section 17.117. The base for this transfer is $1,425,000 in fiscal
1.12year 2028 and each year thereafter.
