44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
55 1.5 Section 1. MINNESOTA ALLIANCE OF BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS;​
66 1.6APPROPRIATION.​
77 1.7 $1,250,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $1,250,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from​
88 1.8the workforce development fund to the commissioner of employment and economic​
99 1.9development for a grant to the Minnesota Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs to administer​
1010 1.10a statewide project of youth job skills and career development. This project, which may​
1111 1.11have career guidance components including health and life skills, must be designed to​
1212 1.12encourage, train, and assist youth in early access to education and job-seeking skills,​
1313 1.13work-based learning experience, including career pathways in STEM learning, career​
1414 1.14exploration and matching, and first job placement through local community partnerships​
1515 1.15and on-site job opportunities. This grant requires a 25 percent match from nonstate resources.​
1616 1.16These are onetime appropriations.​
