7 | 7 | | 1.7 Section 1. Minnesota Statutes 2024, section 645.071, is amended to read: |

8 | 8 | | 1.8 645.071 STANDARD OF TIME. |

9 | 9 | | 1.9 Every mention of, or reference to, any hour or time in any law is to be construed with |

10 | 10 | | 1.10reference to and in accordance with the standard time or advanced standard time provided |

11 | 11 | | 1.11by federal law. No department of the state government and no county, city or town shall |

12 | 12 | | 1.12employ any other time or adopt any ordinance or order providing for the use of any other |

13 | 13 | | 1.13time than the federal standard time or advanced standard time. |

14 | 14 | | 1.14 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective upon the date and time that advanced |
