1.2 relating to economic development; appropriating money for the small business
1.3 assistance partnerships program.
1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE PARTNERSHIPS
1.6PROGRAM.
1.7 $6,425,000 in fiscal year 2026 and $6,425,000 in fiscal year 2027 are appropriated from
1.8the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for the
1.9small business assistance partnerships program under Minnesota Statutes, section 116J.682.
1.10All grant awards shall be for two consecutive years. Grants shall be awarded in the first
1.11year. The department may use up to five percent of the appropriation for administrative
1.12purposes. These are onetime appropriations.
