33 1.3BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​
44 1.4 Section 1. PRIVATE SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC​
55 1.5WATERS; ITASCA COUNTY.​
66 1.6 Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45; 282.018, subdivision 1; or the​
77 1.7public sale provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Itasca County may sell by private​
88 1.8sale up to ten percent of the tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is located in the​
99 1.9county as of the effective date of this section under the remaining provisions of Minnesota​
1010 1.10Statutes, chapter 282. The conveyance must be in a form approved by the attorney general.​
1111 1.11This authority is in addition to any other authority conferred on the county to sell tax-forfeited​
1212 1.12lands. The county has determined that the county's land management interests would best​
1313 1.13be served if the land was returned to private ownership. This section expires June 30, 2027.​
