44 1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:​

1313 1.13 Sec. 2. LOCAL BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND REHABILITATION;​
1414 1.14APPROPRIATION.​
1515 1.15 $150,000,000 is appropriated from the bond proceeds account in the state transportation​
1616 1.16fund to the commissioner of transportation to match federal money and to replace or​
1717 1.17rehabilitate local deficient bridges as provided under Minnesota Statutes, section 174.50.​
1818 1.18This appropriation is for the actual construction, reconstruction, and improvement of local​
1919 1.19bridges, including (1) design-build contracts and consultant usage, and (2) the cost of actual​
2020 1.20payments to landowners for lands acquired for highway rights-of-way, payments to lessees,​
2121 1.21interest subsidies, and relocation expenses. When awarding grants under this appropriation,​
2222 1.22the commissioner may establish priorities according to the master bridge priority list.​
