6 | 6 | | 1.6 Section 1. [62Q.512] COVERAGE FOR BRAIN ANEURYSM IMAGING SERVICES. |

7 | 7 | | 1.7 (a) Every health plan company shall provide coverage for the use of imaging services, |
---|
8 | 8 | | 1.8including but not limited to magnetic resonance imaging, computerized tomography, or |
---|
9 | 9 | | 1.9angiograms, to identify and check on the status of unruptured brain aneurysms. |
---|
10 | 10 | | 1.10 (b) The imaging services described in paragraph (a) must be provided with no cost |
---|
11 | 11 | | 1.11sharing at least annually to women 40 years of age or older and be classified as a preventive |
---|
12 | 12 | | 1.12service. |

13 | 13 | | 1.13 EFFECTIVE DATE.This section is effective January 1, 2026, and applies to health |
