1.2 relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money for ethnic media for

1.4BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
1.5 Section 1. APPROPRIATION; ETHNIC MEDIA.
1.6 $250,000 in fiscal year 2026 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund to
1.7the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Humanities Center for a grant program to provide
1.8funding to ethnic media organizations creating video content in a language other than
1.9English. Grant recipients must make the content available to public, educational, and
1.10government access television.
